About Physician Thrivingâ„¢
Helping Physicians Thrive in Medicine and Life
Physician Thrivingâ„¢ exists to help physicians, residents, and medical students build lives of purpose, wisdom, and fulfillment both inside and outside of medicine.
Medicine is a remarkable calling. It allows us to serve others, make a difference, and use our gifts to impact lives. However, the journey of medicine can also be demanding. The pursuit of excellence can sometimes come at the expense of personal growth, relationships, financial well-being, and spiritual health.
We believe physicians were created to do more than simply survive the challenges of medicine.
Â
They were created to thrive.

Our MissionÂ
Our mission is to create a community where physicians, residents, and medical students can grow through meaningful conversations, education, and connection.
Physician Thriving exists to provide encouragement, resources, and opportunities for physicians to develop in every area of life, spiritually, personally, financially, and professionally.
We believe a thriving physician is not defined only by clinical excellence or professional achievement, but by a life grounded in purpose, strengthened by relationships, guided by wisdom, and aligned with God’s calling.
.
Our Vision
Beyond Medicine. Toward Purpose.
We envision a community where physicians are equipped to pursue excellence in medicine while also building lives that are fulfilling, intentional, and aligned with their values.
Through Physician Thriving, we hope to create a space where physicians can:
-
Connect with others who understand the unique journey of medicine
-
Learn from shared experiences and practical wisdom
-
Grow in faith, purpose, and intentional living
-
Build a legacy that extends beyond their profession
Meet the Founder

Dr. Cassandre Perard
Â
Physician. Educator. Leader. Builder.
Â
Physician Thriving was born from a vision that God placed on my heart, a calling to help physicians, residents, and medical students thrive not only in medicine, but in every area of life.
Long before medical school, I recognized that medicine could provide an opportunity to serve others while also building a lasting legacy. Before pursuing medicine, I studied economics and business and gained experience on the business side of healthcare, experiences that shaped my understanding of strategy, leadership, and financial stewardship.
Â
Throughout my journey, God continued to prepare me by giving me opportunities to learn and apply principles of wealth building, including real estate, investing, and tax strategies. Within five years of graduating residency, I built a solid networth by intentionally creating wealth beyond a physician paycheck.
Â
For years, I believed I was simply learning skills to build a better future. Looking back, I see that God was preparing me for a greater purpose.
As an academic hospitalist, educator, and physician leader, I have dedicated my career to caring for patients, mentoring future physicians, and serving in academic and administrative roles. I have been advising and mentoring medical students and residents as they navigate the challenges and transitions of medical training.
Â
Through these experiences, I recognized that physicians need more than clinical excellence. They need community, mentorship, encouragement, and practical wisdom to thrive in every area of life.
Â
My passion for physician financial education was further strengthened through a health policy internship in Washington, D.C., where I gained firsthand experience in healthcare policy, advocacy, and the legislative process. My work focused on federal student loans, repayment options for medical students and physicians, and the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. As part of this work, I completed a thesis analyzing repayment strategies and PSLF.
Â
Physician Thriving brings together these experiences, faith, medicine, education, leadership, and financial stewardship, to create a community where physicians can grow spiritually, personally, financially, and professionally.
I did not create this vision through my own plans or ambition.
I simply said yes to what God placed before me.
